Do I need to open it before every drive?
No. Once you've allowed location access, journeys are recorded in the background. You just review them afterwards.
What if a journey is missed?
Add it manually and the distance can be estimated or entered by hand. Every trip shows where its distance came from.
Which vehicles and rates are covered?
HMRC's approved mileage rates for cars, vans, motorcycles and bicycles, including the 10,000-mile threshold across the tax year, and the advisory electricity rates for company EVs.
Do I need Xero?
No. Solo gives you finished PDF and CSV reports to share with your accountant or any accounting system. Xero draft bills come with Solo Plus and Teams.
How much does it cost?
